Assembling the Doors
Once all the pieces have been milled and cut to the needed sizes, and they have had all the tongues and grooves routered into them, it is now time to assemble them into doors.
Glue is applied to the end of a rail and then the rail is inserted into one end of a stile.
After a rail is added to a stile, the center panel can be added if needed, the rail for the other end of the door can be glued into place. Then a little more glue is added and the other stile is put into place.
Once the rails, stiles, and center panels have been glued together, each door is placed in bar clamps to hold it tight and square until the glue is set.
Some of the doors will have Plexiglass installed in the center rather than a wood panel as seen in the first two pictures.
The last picture are stacks of assembled doors, some with wood panel centers, and others that will receive the Plexiglass pieces in the final assembly.
