Milling
Taking the rough lumber from the lumber yard, I first cut each piece close to the size needed. I then run them through the joiner and planer until the desired size is reached.
As you will see, I only need a few pieces of some of the components, such as the baseboard, only 5 are needed – one for each unit. But for other components such as the rails and stiles for the doors, I need as many as 32 pieces the same size.
